Vin Diesel Says FAST SIX Is So Good, It Needs Two Movies!

After the success of FAST FIVE, the rumors immediately started about seeing a FAST SIX.  Universal realized that the Fast and the Furious franchise was still a major money maker, and work began on a new script.

Well now, we have word from Vin Diesel, himself that the script for the sixth film is so good that a seventh film is absolutely necessary.  He says:

“With the success of [‘Fast Five’], and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space,

“We have to pay off this story, we have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages. The studio said, ‘You can’t fit all that story in one damn movie!'”

Character relationships?  Something tells me that FAST SIX ain’t gonna be no HAMLET.  But, you know what, if Vin believes in it, then I believe in it.  Hopefully, SIX and SEVEN will match up.
