Beyonce and Jay-Z Have a Baby Girl!!!

It seemed like only yesterday, Beyonce dropped her mic at the MTV Music Awards and announced that she was pregnant.  And now, the baby is here!

According to E! Online, the baby girl was born via scheduled C-section last night in New York.

There is still confusion about the name, with E! reporting that it’s Blue Ivy Carter, and TMZ reporting that it’s Ivy Blue Carter. An official statement from the couple has yet to be released, but numerous friends have already come forward on Twitter to congratulate the two.

Russell Simmons tweeted the new parents: “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z,” while Rihanna tweeted: “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”

Jay-Z, whose real name is Sean Carter, and Beyonce were married in April 2008 after roughly six years of dating.
