Federline was in Australia on Sunday competing on a weight loss reality show “Excess Baggage” when he complained of the discomfort. A spokesman for the network on which Excess Baggage airs says that Federline had just finished a challenge with the Greater Western Sydney Australian Footbale League team that involved a lot of running and catching. Just after the challenge, Federline suddenly collapsed – but the rep says that he did not have a heart attack.
A local paper reported that Federline was treated for symptoms of minor cardiac arrest before he was taken to an area hospital. He has since been released.
Federline, who used to be a backup dancer, has reportedly had physical problems on other occasions during the taping of the show.
This isn’t his first time trying his hand at onscreen weight loss. Federline once appeared on VH1’s ‘Celebrity Fit Club.’
