Nicholas Cage Wants a WICKER MAN Sequel. In Other News, Nicholas Cage is Bat S*it Crazy

I think I may get in trouble for my opening title, but I don't think it comes without reason...Nicholas Cage has just come up with an idea that rivals "Springtime for Hitler".

I think I may get in trouble for my opening title, but I don’t think it comes without reason…Nicholas Cage has just come up with an idea that rivals “Springtime for Hitler”.

During a new web chat with Empire Online, Nicolas Cage said that he would be open to a sequel to THE WICKER MAN.  Yup.  That movie.  No, I’m not lying.  What makes that even worse is this quotation:

“I would like to hook up with one of the great Japanese filmmakers, like the master that made ‘Ringu,’ and take ‘The Wicker Man’ to Japan…Except this time he’s a ghost.”

*cough*  But wait, I’m not done yet.

Cage also spoke about some career choices he made back in the early 2000s, and how he turned down two major franchises:

“There were two movies that asked me to go to Australia or New Zealand for long periods of time. One was LORD OF THE RINGS and one was THE MATRIX…But I was actively involved at that time raising my family and I couldn’t really take that time out.”

It’s all starting to make sense now…
At the risk of sarcasm completely taking over my body, causing me to go on long tirades about THE WICKER MAN, Bees, punching women, and burnt toast memes, I shall now leave you with this:

  • Many thanks for your post pskodysn. I want to write my opinion that the expense of car insurance differs a lot from one coverage to another, given that there are so many different issues which contribute to the overall cost. By way of example, the model and make of the auto will have a large bearing on the charge. A reliable older family car or truck will have a more affordable premium over a flashy expensive car.
