PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 Confirmed for Fall of 2012

Looks like PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is going the way of SAW!

Looks like PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is going the way of SAW!

In an official press release, Paramount Pictures has revealed a few specific highlights for their 2012 release slate.  On that list are Brad Pitt’s WORLD WAR Z, Sacha Baron Cohen’s THE DICTATOR, the GI Joe sequel, GI JOE: RETALIATION, and, you guessed it, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4.

Many had assumed (and I dare say, hoped) that the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise would stop at 3 and stay in audience’s minds as a well done horror trilogy.  But the third film grossed $202 million worldwide on a $5 million budget, and as you all know, that means Sequel Time!!!

No word on what the story will be yet…may I suggest the writers turn things around a bit and go all the way back to the evil spirit’s time and watch them being haunted by humans?  That could be fun…
