According to WorstPreviews, Warner Bros is developing a sequel to Smith’s smash, I AM LEGEND. The studio has hired Arash Amel (THE EXPATRIATE) to write the script.
Rumors were flying that the film would be a prequel seeing as how *SPOILER ALERT* Robert Neville pretty much blew himself up at the end, but now, we are hearing that it would in fact be a direct sequel.
Smith is currently being courted, but won’t sign on until he sees the script. The original I AM LEGEND took in $584 Million worldwide.
My question is…how the hell is Robert Neville going to survive a grenade??
