Last night, the Golden Globe Awards took control of Hollywood!  All the biggest celebrities were in the building to see who would take home honors in movies and television, while all the country watched to see who Ricky Gervais would rip into first!

Sadly, Gervais hit the stage for what seemed to be less than a total of ten minutes throughout the broadcast (although his moment with Johnny Depp was still hysterical), but just in case you were wondering who actually won some of those awards, we have the complete winners list for you below.

Some noteworthy wins: as expected, THE ARTIST won both Best Picture and Best Actor in Comedy/Musical, while THE DESCENDANTS did the same in the drama category.  Meryl Streep won Best Actress Drama for her role as Margaret Thatcher in THE IRON LADY, and “Modern Family” took home Best TV Comedy while Showtime’s “Homeland” took home Best TV Drama.
