EXPENDABLES 2 Will Have an R-Rating After All

Back in January, news came forward from a Polish newspaper that Chuck Norris caused THE EXPENDABLES 2 to have a PG-13 rating. Fans of the film were outraged. Well now comes word that the PG-13 was just a rumor, and we should expect a hard R.

Back in January, news came forward from a Polish newspaper that Chuck Norris caused THE EXPENDABLES 2 to have a PG-13 rating.  Fans of the film were outraged.  Well now comes word that the PG-13 was just a rumor, and we should expect a hard R.

Craig Zablo’s StalloneZone, which claims to be “The #1 Sylvester Stallone Fan Site In the World,” posted a comment from Zablo, himself, saying:

“Just received word from Sly today… and I quote ‘After taking in all the odd rumors and hearsay, EXPENDABLES 2 is an R.’”

Granted, we should probably take this with a grain of salt, but I’m up for believing that Stallone decided to go all out and not worry about PG-13.  Either way, we’ll find out in a few weeks what the truth is.

Until then, I’ll go home and watch the Director’s Cut of part one (which is absolutely amazing, if you haven’t seen it already).
