On the show she addressed her expanding figure, saying “No, it’s not twins … I know it looks like it!”
The 31-year-old is appearing on the NBC reality competition show “Fashion Star,” which debuts tonight. Simpson has arguably become more rich from her fashion line than her music career, making her an obvious choice for the show.
And given that Simpson is the consumate businesswoman, it’s not surprising that Simpson is rumored to have already signed on the dotted line with a major weight loss company to be their spokeswoman when she finally takes off the baby weight.
“She’s totally going to cash in on taking off the extra weight,” says the source, who would not name which company is already locked in. “and there’s no better way to have a dramatic looking before and after than when you have a child.”
Some believe that the company may be Weight Watchers, who is not unfamiliar with celeb singer spokespeople. Their campaign with Jennifer Hudson was an enormous success, lasting nearly two years now.
But there’s still some time before we’ll see Simpson talking about dieting: she is apparently still a few weeks away from her due date.
