Autopsy Details Whitney Houston’s Sad Condition When She Died

The Los Angeles County coroner’s final report details the sad condition of Whitney Houston on the day of her death.

When 48 year old Houston drowned in a bathtub on Feburary 11th, high on a cocktail of cocaine and prescription drugs, years of drug abuse had already taken their toll. 

The report notes that Houston had been in scalding water.  According to the New York Post, the temperature of the water in Houston’s bathtub was still 93.5 degrees nearly six hours after she was pronounced dead. The scalding-hot water caused burn marks — called “skin slippage” in the report — on her hips, knees, ankles and shoulders.

Investigators also noted Houston’s “maxillary dental prosthesis” – 11 false teeth. It’s unclear whether they were there to present a perfect Hollywood smile, or the replacing teeth lost from drug use.

The Post also reports that Houston suffered from other ailments, such as a 60 percent narrowing of her right coronary artery and a congested colon, but was still “well built, muscular and fairly well nourished.”
