Monifia – then a new addition to a zoo in Sydney, Australia - was just eight weeks old when this video was taken in 2008, but suddenly it’s going viral again.
But alas, internet fame is often fleeting. What’s Monifa doing now? Darned if I can tell. There’s been no mention of little Monifa as a grown up hippo on the internet. The inherent lesson to the animal kingdom: Stay cute.
