According to Entertainment Weekly, the Green Day frontman played at the wedding completely for free!  It turns out that the two have known each other for a long while, and Armstrong did it as a little wedding gift for the bride and groom.

I wanted Armstrong to play at my wedding…I ended up getting a DJ with an iPod.  See what happens when your personal net worth is around $20 billion?
