VIDEO: “Trongs” Could Be The Next Life-Changing Invention. Why Didn’t We Think Of This?!?

Even if this doesn't take off, it should. It's kind of genius. Don't believe me? Watch! Very clever! Wait, I'm overselling it. But it's still cool!

It seems like iPhones and blackberrys could have made eating sloppy foods like chicken wings a thing of the past. Enter trongs – the clever utensil that cover your fingers while eating. (I seriously had been calling out for something like this while eating cheese puffs a few months ago. I swear I made it my facebook status.)

But enough from me – watch! For more viral videos, follow @brianbalthazar on twitter!

  • Brian,
Thanks for finding us and for your positive assessment. Dan and I have worked really hard on this seemingly simple invention for the past 5 years and feel it reconciles our (American’s) love of food, especially BBQ, and our need to stay connected through our phones and tablets. I know the notion of changing the way we do something as visceral as eating can be disconcerting to a lot of folks but it really is a much better way. The rate of adoption of new technology is so hyper at this point in history I think we are starting to all become very fluid and more receptive to new technologies. Just thinking about the number of new apps and gadgets I have tried and fully adopted compared to the previous generations’ rate of adoption (as a function of a relatively small amount of significant innovations) is mind-melting.
Thanks again for the appreciation and keep on POP’n!
