Rihanna Doesn’t Care What The World Thinks About Her And Chris Brown: “Even If It’s A Mistake, It’s My Mistake”
It seems like no matter what the rest of the world thinks, Rihanna will do what she wants…
In a brand new interview with Rolling Stone, the “Diamonds” singer opens up like she never has before, and finally tells fans that she doesn’t care what they think of her and Brown reuniting:
“I decided it was more important for me to be happy…I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of [my happiness].”
The 24-year-old singer says that the public image she is giving off and the potential message it conveys about abusive relationships don’t matter to her…anything done in her private life is her decision, and any mistake she makes is hers alone:
“Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
So what could have possibly changed since four years ago? Well if you’re watching from the outside, Rihanna understands that it seems like probably nothing at all:
“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world…You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know.”
But up close, she insists that the two are better than ever before:
“It’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about s–t. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”
So is there any silver lining? Well according to the BATTLESHIP star, the one thing she has learned is that if there are any slip ups by Brown at all, things will be done:
“He doesn’t have the luxury of f–king up again…That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”
Well…that just goes to show you that the heart is stronger than any logic a single person could have. Granted, pretty much everyone else who lives on this Earth (including me) is waiting for the next time Brown explodes, whether it be in another parking lot with Frank Ocean, a club brawl, or at a television studio after a talk show appearance. As long as he doesn’t take down this poor girl with him again and we never have to say some equivalent of “I told you so”, then I guess we could only wish her the best.
I in addition to my friends ended up examining the nice tips and hints from the website then then got an awful feeling I never expressed respect to the website owner for those secrets. All the ladies are actually as a consequence excited to read through all of them and already have pretty much been taking advantage of those things. We appreciate you actually being well kind and for making a choice on this kind of cool subjects most people are really eager to discover. Our own honest regret for not expressing gratitude to you sooner.
