TRAILER ALERT: Joss Whedon’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING Is A Modern Take On A Shakespearean Classic

Take a look at Joss Whedon's modern take on William Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.

Tom-Lenk-and-Nathan-Fillion-in-Joss-Whedons-Much-Ado-About-NothingSo how do you follow up a 1 billion dollar special effects masterpiece like THE AVENGERS? Joss Whedon does it with a small budget, black and white version of William Shakespeare’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.

After being very well received during festival season, we finally have our first look at MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, with it’s huge cast that includes Nathan Fillion (“Castle”), Clark Gregg (THE AVENGERS), Alexis Denisof (“How I Met Your Mother”), Ashley Johnson(THE AVENGERS, THE HELP), Fran Kranz(CABIN IN THE WOODS), Amy Acker(“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”) and Reed Diamond (MONEYBALL, “Bones”).  Whedon wrote and directed MUCH ADO after finishing THE AVENGERS, and now he is back in the driver seat of all things Marvel, as he is working on getting  the “S.H.I.E.L.D” TV series ready for ABC.

Take a look at the trailer below. MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING was picked up for distribution by LionsGate and will hit theaters in June.
