Prima Cinema is giving the nation’s one percent the chance to live large – for 35 grand, you can watch the re-release of Jurassic Park in 3D at your home this weekend.

As part of a campaign to change the way we watch movies, and offer new services, the Carlsbad based company is launching the service to the rich niche of home theater owners.

So far Universal is the only major studio offering their films to be premiered at home the same weekend they open. Other titles that have been available include Les MiserablesIdentity Thief and Admission. Tom Cruise’s upcoming thriller Oblivion will be made available next.
