Set as a 1970’s teen romance, Castro, who has appeared on screen in “27 Dresses” and “Forged” has been cast as the romantic lead – one of two teenagers struggling for financial independence in Bensonhurst.

Screenwriter/Director Guy Guido has tapped Courtney Galiano (“So You Think You Can Dance,” “Stand Up Guys”) and Raquel Castro (“Jersey Girl,” “The Voice”) for co-starring roles. Comic (and singer herself) Sandra Bernhard is attached to the project.
