Tom Arnold Becomes First Time Father At 54!

Congratulations to Tom Arnold!  He and wife Ashley Groussman have welcomed their first baby!

Today is reporting that the 54-year-old Arnold and Groussman welcomed son Jax Copeland Arnold to the world this past Saturday at 9:53am.  Jax weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and both mother and son are happy and healthy.

Despite being married three times before (including to the singing miracle that is Rosanne Barr), this is Arnold’s first child.  He joked about the surprise back in January on “The View”, when he said,

“I’m pregnant…I have put on, like, 40 pounds. My wife is pregnant too. We’re having a baby. … I didn’t think it was in the cards for me, to be honest, and so I was completely shocked. It’s a miracle.”

Arnold also tweeted Saturday in his sarcastic way about becoming a father in his older age,

“Looking forward to being a 70 year old Little League Coach.”  

Tom, I only hope for all those kids that that actually happens, because something tells me you’d be the funniest 70-year-old coach ever…even funnier than Rip Torn in DODGEBALL…
