“Murder, She Wrote” – the CBS series that ran a remarkable 12 seasons in the mid eighties to early nineties – may become an NBC series with Oscar winner Octavia Spencer starring as the woman who can’t seem to go anywhere without getting someone getting murdered.
Desperate Housewives alum Alexandra Cunningham and David Janollari are slated to produce the pilot.
NBC’s take will revolve around a hospital administrator/amateur detective who self-publishes her first mystery novel.
NBC is also bringing back their series Remington Steele as a comedy.
