Flap open those fans and clip down your wigs, it’s reunion time! While fans criticized the 10th season of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta for being as basic as some Sweet Tea, the sneak peeks from the reunion are bringing the heat.
This season saw the return of original housewife Nene Leakes, and brought newbie Eva Marcell on in the “friend” capacity. While these two housewives didn’t exactly stir the pot the way we hoped, the season still had some great dramatic moments. Nene and former housewife Kim Zolciak found themselves in a full-blown social media war, after Kim’s daughter posted a video of bug’s (roaches?) crawling around Nene’s bathroom. Shereé Whitfield delved further into her relationship with her behind-bars beau, which brought about a lot of questions from the other ladies. Kenya Moore’s husband, Marc, was finally introduced, proving to everyone that he does, in fact, exist. Oh and Marlo Hampton caused the most amount of drama, exchanging words with almost everyone in the cast….even though she has yet to hold a peach herself.
Kandi Burruss has warned everyone time and time again that Mama Joyce is off limits. While Mama Joyce has no problem expressing her grievances, it is clear that Kandi will defend her mother to no end. In the first sneak peek, however, it is nice to see Kandi’s honest opinion about her mother’s oddly polite exchange with Porsha Williams. Porsha was the same housewife who accused Kandi of intent to drug and rape not one year ago. I will admit it is hard to stay mad at Porsha when she shows up KILLING IT in her “Purple Rain” number…
WHO IS JOHN?!?! This is the drama we’ve needed! Kenya and Marlo once had a great friendship but Marlo feels spurred thinking that Kenya just used her to get closer to Nene. While some may think this is a tad petty, let’s remember countries have gone to war for less. In any event, Kenya brings the shade in this heated exchange and accuses of Marlo of blackmailing Nene! Most of the details of the “blackmailing” have not been released yet, but the one detail that rang loud and clear was that John (allegedly) paid Marlo $20,000! It probably makes me a bad person for admitting this, but this kind of drama is what I tune in for!
