Living legends Cher and Meryl Streep were at a red carpet event for the premiere of their film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again when the two decided to share a smooch. The two multifaceted actresses haven’t been in a film together since Silkwood in 1983, but their admiration and friendship has not wavered. 
As I have become the unofficial spokesperson for the Mamma Mia! sequel, I found it imperative to share this moment with you all. Speaking of the (highly) anticipated film, the leading ladies share an interesting character dynamic as Cher plays Streep’s mother, even though the actresses are only 3 years apart in age. The plot for the sequel follows Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) as she navigates the turbulent waters of a struggling marriage. She relies on the help of her friends, dads, and estranged grandmother (can you imagine have Cher as a grandmother?!?) to help guide her through her biggest journey yet, motherhood.
