We know the peachy pretties of Atlanta are known to throw some shade, but has someone out-shaded them all? Rumors started swirling when a leaked cast photo of the Real Housewives of Atlanta hit the internet over the weekend. This is more than just catty behavior, this is letting the cat out of the bag!
If the leaked image is indeed accurate, it reveals that two former favs have exited the show, while someone else got promoted AND two new girls have come to mix things up. First let’s talk about who’s out. Kenya Moore twirled herself right out of Housewives happiness to take a stab at being a real wife and mother. After secretly marrying her short time beau, Marc Daly, the show wanted Kenya to show more of her personal life on screen. Kenya allegedly refused to do so with the amount of money Bravo was offering. Because of this, the former Miss USA is taking a step out of the limelight to focus on her family. Speaking of money, Shereé Whitfield is the second housewife who will not be returning for season 11 of the hit reality series. The owner of “Chateau-Shereé” took to social media to say she “was not interested in entertaining the low ball offer that was sent. Know ur worth.” I think that sums up her reasoning rather nicely.
Now for the newbies. Eva Marcille looks to have been promoted from “friend” to full on housewife this season. Also being given an official peach will be Shamari Devoe, wife of Ronnie Devoe of New Edition, and Tanya Sam, a registered nurse who owns her own company building agency. Not a ton of information surrounding the new ladies has been released yet but a picture does speak a thousand words. Rounding out the cast it seems will be Atlanta veterans Kandi Buruss, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and Nene Leakes. Speaking of Nene, the Atlanta OG took to social media to express her anger over the leaked photo. Nene does not say that the photo is inaccurate, rather it “doesn’t represent some of [the housewives] in the best light!” Interesting word choice Nene.
In any event, none of this has yet to be confirmed or denied by the execs over at Bravo so we may just have to wait and see. No official premiere date has been given for season 11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta but we can expect the series to come back sometime next year.
