VIDEO: “That Girl In Pink” From Rebecca Black’s “Friday” Now Has Her OWN Music Video.
It seems that the teens shall inherit the earth. For those of you among the tens of millions of people who have seen Rebecca Black’s video “Friday” – you may remember the young girl dancing in the convertible (some say awkwardly) with Rebecca. Well now her braces are off, some hair extensions are in (I assume), and she’s got her OWN music video. Yep, she does.
Her name is Benni Cinkle, (real name Bennett but she goes by Benni) and she become somewhat of a phenomenon herself for her self described ‘weird’ dance in the back of the car in the “Friday” song. Fans ended up creating video loops and GIFS of what they called her ‘awkward dance.’ She got tons of fan mail. She did some web videos answering the questions where she is truly just a cute 13 year old who’s very sweet and living a sort of dream where she’s an online sensation. (Oh yeah, over 600 thousand people watched her home video answering people’s questions.) For every person who’s ever been picked on in school, let’s celebrate the kids who are nice and end up getting the last laugh!
Still, I can’t believe all this… now she’s got her own video. Sure, a bit autotuned, but she can sing. Before you judge, she’s 13. Let her enjoy the ride. And sure, she IS wearing too much makeup for 13. (What 13 year old doesn’t?) Blame Hannah Montana.
Oh and PS she’s quite progressive for a 13 year old! She’s a vegetarian out of support for animals and also supports gay rights.
