Deadline is reporting that Kevin Costner is being considered for a key role in the upcoming Superman film, starring Henry Cavill.
There’s no word on the character Costner would be playing, although some have speculated it could be Clark Kent’s father. (Another natural guess would be a villain, but many claim that there isn’t one currently that would be a good fit.)
Speculation has been the order of the day with the film, casting wise… Cavill is one of few actors actually confirmed with a part, and everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Natalie Portman to Rachel McAdams have been rumored to be considered for the female roles.
