The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that she is in “discussions” to join the film, however nothing is set in stone. The biggest issue, her reps say, is the actress’ pregnancy: she is due this spring and filming is to begin on the final Batman chapter only a few months later.
The role is being described as a “romantic lead” for Bruce Wayne (many are speculating that role to be Talia al Ghul, Ras al Ghul’s daughter). Naomi Watts, Kate Winslet and Rachel Weisz all read for the role in the past weeks.
