Brooklynites Have A “Phil Colllins Day Parade” For Some Reason.

So… this happened. In what I can only imagine was an attempt at being cheeky, a small group of Brooklynites celebrated their ‘first annual’ Phil Collins day, complete with a (small) parade, which included an effigy float shaped like his head, and I can only assume a lot of Phil Collins music. (As the marching band suggests.) It does not appear as though Phil Collins was in attendance… but I imagine right about now he’s wrapping his daily regimen of googling himself, and now has moved on to wondering why now, and why he wasn’t invited.

Oh, and for the sheer wonder of it all, there’s video.
