In the late 90s, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were like the golden couple of Hollywood. Then, there was divorce, Tom’s descent into Hollywood madness, Keith Urban and Katie Holmes, and now we’re in a completely different world.
Recently, Kidman spoke to Marie Claire UK about those relationships and Cruise, and how when things ended, she felt like she may never find love again:
“That was a great relationship…I think it ran its course…I was really damaged and not sure whether [love and marriage] was ever going to happen again to me.”
Kidman admits that a high-profile relationship was never something she was looking for, but made certain sacrifices for Cruise:
“I was never seeking to be a celebrity. But I was prepared to do that for love.”
Well at least the first quotation is some good press for Tom…Kidman recently celebrated the birth of her and Urban’s new baby girl, Faith Margaret, and has a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role in RABBIT HOLE.
