After Christina Aguilera’s botched Super Bowl performance was blown up into “shock heard around the world” proporations, the singer was unfairly chastised for being, well human. But redemption, apparently, lives in Brooklyn.
According to The Associated Press The Brooklyn Cyclones are offering Aguilera a chance to perform the song before one of the minor league baseball team’s home games this summer.
Cyclones general manager Steve Cohen said: “when a player makes a mistake, they usually don’t get a shot at redemption, but with a singer, that’s a different story.”
No word on whether Aguilera has accepted the offer.
