“Dancing With The Stars” Has Two Judge Favorites… But Who Will Fans Choose?

Despite Kirstie Alley’s comments about being terrified, and thinking she’d be the next David Hasselhoff on “Dancing with the Stars”, her and Ralph Macchio brought their A-game in this first week of the show!

Alley and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy had the best score of the night in the cha-cha-cha category with a 23, and Bruno Tonioli declared that it was “the best of the night.”

And it was pretty close to being just that!  The one dance team that beat their score overall: Ralph Macchio’s foxtrot.  Paired with Karina Smirnoff, Macchio beat Alley by only one point, with a 24!  Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said “That was just an amazing surprise.”

Brian’s note: I’m going to admit full bias. I’m a huge Wendy Williams fan. I’m with her for the long haul! Okay, back to Mike!! :

Both dances are below in their videos, and I have to admit…both dances were fun and exciting to watch, and I think Ralph Macchio almost looks like a professional.  I guess the question is why is Kirstie Alley so damn nervous, and how far do you think she’ll go?
