So after all the criticism and harsh words that Rebecca Black and her song, “Friday”, have received, at least we know that she has ONE fan, and he happens to be one of the biggest music critics in the world!
According to PEOPLE, Simon Cowell had some nice words about Black, saying:
“I love her [and] the fact that she’s gotten so much publicity…People are so upset about the song, but I think it’s hysterical…I want to meet her…Anyone who can create this much controversy within a week, I want to meet. I love people like that.”
So there ya go! It seems like controversy is what Cowell loves, and in turn, he loves Black! And like we showed earlier, the girl could sing, and is pretty humble. Here’s to hoping that maybe she’ll prove us all wrong and give us a song with a bit more substance and a lot less auto-tune.
