Living in a historic home is great – but just try to have a modern convenience installed. Corey and Ben McMills are San Franciscans who wanted to have a garage in their investment property in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. With the help of a team from Beausoleil Architects, they created a faux victorian front facade to their garage door – the results are amazing. And it opens like something from outer space. City planners can’t complain that it’s an eyesore.
PS – there’s room for four cars back there!
