The first season might have just finished, but Christina Aguilera already is thinking ahead to season two!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aguilera has officially signed on to keep her spot as the female judge on the hit NBC show. Right before the announcement, she told THR:
“If they’ll have me, I’d be delighted to be back.”
And why wouldn’t she want to be back? Aguilera makes $225,000 per episode — $150,000 more than what her fellow judges make.
This year’s winner may not have been Aguilera’s protégé (Adam Levine’s Javier Colon took the $100,000 prize and recording contract), but now we could officially say that there’s always next season!
