If you haven’t heard, the next superhero reboot coming to your town is Wonder Woman! The difference here, though, is that Ms. Wonder is coming to not a movie theater, but your nearest television screen!
David E. Kelley, the man behind “Ally McBeal”, “The Practice” and “Boston Legal” is dipping into the hero pool with the remake, and this weekend, NBC unveiled its first image of star Adrianne Palicki in full costume.
As you can see below (courtesy of EW.com), Palicki’s costume is pretty standard for Wonder Woman, but many even a tad campier (if that’s possible…) At this point, I don’t know how the show could be taken completely seriously, but if it helps your view at all, Elizabeth Hurley and Cary Elwes have joined the cast, and NBC promises that if the pilot is picked up, it will be a non-campy take character.
