RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Gets a New, Very Impressive Trailer

If you’re looking for any other hint of whether or not RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will be a good prequel, I think I got the evidence for you right here.

The new trailer goes a lot more in depth concerning the story of the movie, and on top of that, gives a huge look at all the CGI work put in on Caesar and the rest of the apes.  It is extremely impressive, especially with how you could see the emotion and thought process developing behind that fake ape’s eyes.  (Hopefully that level of fake emotion won’t out-act James Franco…just saying…)

Obviously, the effects are not even fully finished yet, so check out the trailer below, and look forward to seeing the final product in theaters August 5th.

Synopsis: An origin story in the true sense of the word, RISE OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco. The film is a reality-based cautionary tale — a science fiction/science-fact blend where mankind’s hubris leads to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
