Jon Stewart lambasted both FOX News and anchor Chris Wallace during a live interview. He called Chris Wallace ‘insane’ for his twisted view on Stewart’s message, and then called out the network as the one the most distorts a political message, calling their audience ‘the most consistently misinformed’. A must see!
Stewart took particular offense to when Wallace accused Stewart of wanting to be a political player.
“You’re insane. … Here’s the difference between you and I. I’m a comedian first. My comedy is informed by an ideological background; there’s no question about that. But the thing that you will never understand … is that Hollywood, yeah, they’re liberal, but that’s not their primary motivating force. I’m not an activist. I am a comedian.”
