Ashton Kutcher Cleans Up – And Opens Up About His Future on CBS

Ashton Kutcher has finally ditched his unkempt scruff he donned during his season on Two and a Half Men. He's also coming clean about what his plans are for the summer and the next season on CBS.

Now THAT’S better!

Ashton Kutcher has finally ditched the unkempt scruff he donned during his season on Two and a Half Men. He’s also coming clean about what his plans are for the summer and the next season on CBS.

A fresher looking Kutcher actually shaved specifically for the show. (What is it about ‘pretty’ actors always wanting to go scruffy? Brad Pitt and Ashton Kutcher, I’m talking to you. Don’t fight being Hollywood good-looking – embrace it. It’s gettin’ you paid, after all!)

Says Kutcher, at a CBS press tour, according to Entertainment Weekly: “These guys wrote a screenplay that dictated I cut my hair and shaved my beard … Watch on Monday, it’s a real good show.”

Apparently his character does so as a result of a romantic relationship on the series. (It won’t hurt in his own romantic life either.) Kutcher is using his hiatus to film a few feature films, but viewing it as a vacation.

But the looming question at the event was: What will happen to the show, and what will become of Kutcher? Was the last season the success they had hoped it would be?

“The deal we structured was a test deal,” said Kutcher of his contract. “The show is outperforming the numbers from before I was here. I think people are responding to it. For me, having a show that people like and want more of — that’ll dictate my decision. I have a couple features I’m going to do in the summer. Right now, I’m looking at [the summer features] as a hiatus. I’m interested in coming back.”

As for the #winner Charlie Sheen – “Men” creator Chuck Lorre had nothing but well wishing for his former star, who is returning to TV on FX with the show, appropriately titled “Anger Management.”

“I wish him well. I really do,” Chuck said. “I’m glad he’s sober and happy and healthy.”

  • I think everything wrote was very reasonable. But, consider this, what if you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your website, however what if you added a title to possibly grab a person’s attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create news headlines to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get people interested about what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.|
