Whether it be animated or your next Summer Blockbuster, you can’t step five feet without a ‘3D experience’. The truth is that many, many, MANY people don’t like 3D. Yes, it has it’s moments of glory (AVATAR, PIRANHA 3D), but if you’re like me, you think it’s an unnecessary gimmick that never really adds to the movie. If you’re like others, having a sword or body parts come at you for a split second is the greatest pleasure you could have.
Well fret no more! A solution to all your 3D issues has arrived! 2D glasses!
Yup! If you ever have to go to a 3D movie you DON’T want to go to, whether it be the company, or in my case with TRON LEGACY, the theater wasn’t showing it in 2D, these special glasses converts any Real 3D feature back to 2D.
As for the bloated ticket price (another downfall of the format), you’re out of luck. You’re still going to have to pay the full price, and wear silly glasses (albeit you bought these on your own…). But maybe the fact that this product even exists and is making money will knock some sense into some studios…
