Back when Lindsay Lohan was under house arrest, she did her best to keep busy – at one point shooting a homemade-looking commercial for auction site Beezid… and now there’s another spot shot from the comforts of her living room – A four minute ‘sit down interview’ (watch and you’ll understand my use of quotes) that serves as a commercial for Air New Zealand.
Called “On the SkyCouch with Rico” The video comes in at more than four minutes long, and from the sound of the audio, has a few smart-alecky remarks dubbed in after the fact at Lindsay’s expense (A gag about jewelry that was ‘all paid for’ and kissing girls clearly wasn’t said when they shot it with Lindsay in the room.) Lindsay appears to occasionally enjoy the experience, but at other moments, she looks a bit mystified and perplexed by the whole thing. I know that she brought her legal troubles on herself, but I feel a tinge of sadness that it’s come to this for her.
That said, I’m sure she got paid handsomely. She joins the likes of David Hasselhoff and TV host Giuliana Rancic, who have also been interviewed by the racy puppet.
