As part of a Fine Arts workshop that took on the theme of icons, Swedish artist George Chamoun used computers (But NO morphing techniques) to merge two different celebrities from two different eras into portrait collages. He calls the series Iconatomy.

As part of a Fine Arts workshop that took on the theme of icons, Swedish artist George Chamoun used computers (But NO morphing techniques) to merge two different celebrities from two different eras into portrait collages. He calls the series Iconatomy, (click on that link to see his site), merging the words Icon and Anatomy. He acknowledges that he didn’t pair certain actors or actresses up with each other for any subtle commentary on their bodies of work, and also points out he spent a LOT of time searching for the right photographs. The results are both beautiful and staggering.
