Jon Cryer definitely made a lot of jokes during the few months that Charlie Sheen went crazy. But behind the scenes, it turns out that the other side of “Two and a Half Men” was secretly terrified something horrible would happen to his costar.
Cryer was on Ellen yesterday, where he told her that he was scared he’d wake up one morning and find out Charlie was dead:
“Mostly I was worried that Charlie was going to die,” Cryer says. “That was the big fear for me…And that…that did not occur and I’m thrilled about that,”
But does he forgive Sheen for all the bad things he said about him? Not just yet:
“We have not spoken…And I will accept an apology both public and private. But again, it was in the heat of the moment I imagine when he said…. So I did not put a whole lot of credence in it at the time.”
That’s Jon Cryer. Always classy.
The new season of “Two and a Half Men” premieres September 19th, the same day as the Charlie Sheen Roast.
