Ryan And Tatum O’Neal’s Problems Too Big For Reality TV To Fix.

In a not so shocking revelation, Ryan O'Neal is moaning and groaning and whining. That's not the news, that's the norm. This time, he's taking jabs at OWN - the Oprah Winfrey network... claiming that the happy ending at the conclusion of their series, 'Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals' was inauthentic.

Estranged once again.

In a not so shocking revelation, Ryan O’Neal is moaning and groaning and whining. That’s not the news, that’s the norm. This time, he’s taking jabs at OWN – the Oprah Winfrey network… claiming that the happy ending at the conclusion of their series, ‘Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals’ was inauthentic.

(Wow…so a tv show didn’t solve decades of dysfunction? Are we supposed to be alarmed?)

Ryan told TV Guide Magazine that he and Tatum are no longer speaking, and that in fact the show did more harm than good.

“We only reconciled on the show…Not in life. In fact, we’re further apart now than we were when we started the show. So thanks, Oprah, for all your help.”

Wait – so Oprah was supposed to fix all your problems, Ryan?

Ryan and Tatum were estranged for more than 25 years. In her 2004 autobiography ‘A Paper Life,’ Tatum alleged sexual abuse by a male friend of her father’s and physical and emotional abuse from Ryan.

After battling drug addictions for years, and Tatum has said that her father was abusive. In interviews, Ryan has dodged most responsibility. He even blames his family and its dysfunction for causing Farah Fawcett’s cancer.

“There was turmoil during my love affair with Farrah, a lot of it caused by my family, by my kids, all of them, but particularly Tatum… And I just think if she had never met us, would she still be alive today?”

yeesh.
