He acts, he write, and now…he directs!  Matt Damon is going the way of friends George Clooney and Ben Affleck, and directing his own Hollywood film!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the untitled drama was written by both Damon and “The Office” star, John Krasinski based on an idea he had with author Dave Eggers.  The film would star Damon as a salesman who “arrives in a small town only to have his life changed.”

The two are looking to begin filming next spring, when “The Office” is on hiatus.
