Adele is “Relaxed” and “On the Mend” After Major Throat Surgery
Good news for all you Adele fans: the singer is out of surgery and doing well!
According to MSNBC, the singer wrote in a blog post on her site that everything was a success and she is “on the mend”:
“I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all…The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors … I best get back to practicing my mime show now.”
The 23-year-old had to undergo microsurgery in Boston to treat a benign polyp on her vocal cords. The problems caused her to cancel a string of appearances at concerts and awards ceremonies in recent weeks.
