AVATAR Sequels Delayed Until 2016??

The people behind "Avatar" want the sequels to be awesome. SO awesome, in fact, that they would like you to wait until 2016. Cue a Scooby Doo style reaction of: 'whaha???'

Initially, Avatar 2 was expected to release during the holidays of 2013.  But producer Jon Landau wants to showcase brand new technology that will be used in 3D cameras, CG and performance capture, plus a frame rate that will twice as high as the original. With all these advancements, it should feel so real that people will be throwing up during the flying scenes, (my quote, not theirs) but hey, it should make for some incredible movie-watching! We will be seeing the sweat forming on these Na’vi characters’ foreheads, making this picture from the original so ‘two-thousand-late.’

Landau says that Director and gazillionaire James Cameron is committed to the super sophisticated technology advancements and supports the delay.

I’m guessing any socks we’re wearing during the premiere should be loose fitting, because they’re aiming to knock them off with these effects!
