Charlie Sheen: “I’m Not Crazy Anymore” But Does Anyone Believe Him?

Charlie Sheen has had one hell of a year. He went on binges with prostitutes, drunks and alcohol, he got kicked off his own show, and he went on a country-wide tour with a stage show that solidified the fact that something was wrong up there. But after all that, Sheen now says he’s back to reality!

Charlie Sheen has had one hell of a year. He went on binges with prostitutes and drugs, got kicked off his own show, and went on a country-wide tour with a stage show that solidified the fact that something was wrong up there. (Read my review of his Radio City stop RIGHT HERE). But after all that, Sheen now says he’s back to reality!

Sheen was talking to reporters at last night’s FOX Television Critics Association party in Pasadena, California, and more than anything, was trying to convince everyone that the past few months were just that…in his past:

“I’m not crazy anymore. That was an episode…I think I’m a different person than I was yesterday. Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality.”

The 46-year-old trouble maker said that despite everything, he is excited to begin shooting his new FX show, “Anger Management”, especially with the support of his crew:

“I’ve been at this 30 years. It’s nice to be in a situation where the people I’m working with are excited about my input. That wasn’t the case for a long time.”

Charlie said the crew plans to film 10 episodes in six weeks, but it’s too early to name other actors who might guest star. In true Charlie fashion, however, he did remark that “everybody” wants to be involved.

But what about his old coworkers back at “Two and a Half Men”? Charlie says that while he doesn’t speak to producer Chuck Lorre, his relationship with Jon Cryer is okay:

“Jon and I text. Chuck, no…But at some point we are going to have to get some closure there.”

So what is the actor doing now? Anymore girls and powders in his future? Nope! Only family:

“I’ve been spending a lot of time with the kids, a lot of time with the family and I’m getting back into work mode…I’m a single guy hanging out with my children.”

My questions are threefold…1) how long will it all last? 2) How is his relationship with his father Martin Sheen and brother, Emilio Estevez? and 3) Will there ever be a MIGHTY DUCKS 4? (He could ask that to Emilio whenever he gets a chance…)
