VIDEO: Bungee Cord Breaks Over Croc Infested Waters!

This, my friends, is the reason you won’t find me doing this stuff. An Australian tourist was bungee jumping over the Zambesi River a crocodile infested body of water which is right on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The disturbing video is below.

Erin Laung Worth dropped more than 350 only to have the cord snap, sending her down into the water as tourists looked on in horror. She hit the water, disoriented, suffering from a broken collar bone, and swam to the Zimbabwe side, having to go underwater to yank what remained of her broken bungee cord, which kept getting stuck on rocks, branches, and other debris. Her legs were still tied together from the bungee as she swam to shore.

The jump was organized by a company called Safari Par Excellence, which in pr materials, describes the jump as ‘pure adrenaline!’ Um, yeah, for reasons not described in the brochure. (Perhaps a name change to “Sub-Par Excellence” is in order?)
