Adam Levine Starts Record Label, and His First Signing is a “Glee” Star!
Adam Levine is doing everything nowadays! He is the lead singers of one of the biggest bands in the world, he is a judge on one of the biggest shows in the country, and now, he is the president of a brand new record label!
According to E!Online, Levine announced the launch yesterday of 222 Records, and furthermore, he has his first artist: “Glee” star Matthew Morrison! Morrison said in a statement:
“I am excited to be working on my next album with such an incredible singer, writer and producer as Adam Levine…Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together.”
Levine also released a statement about the passion project, as well as his excitement for working with Morrison:
“Starting my own label has been a long-time goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening…I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew’s forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release.”
222 Records will release Morrison’s sophomore album sometime this spring.
