According to MTV News, Aguilera is supposedly going to make a cool 10 million dollars for the next season of NBC’s singing competition show, which is currently the network’s highest rated program.
In other news, I would like to settle down with Christina Aguilera and begin our life together. I am happy to watch the kid. I will also point a fan in your direction while you do those vocal moves up and down the octave scale at will. I don’t know if you’re one of those singers who likes their M&M’s sorted out by color, but I’m down with that too.
Aguilera, who is reportedly the first of the four judges to re-sign a deal, may have to get back to the show earlier than she thinks. Even though the show is only beginning season two, the Peacock is likely to bring the show back in the Fall instead of waiting until next year. This could pit the show against FOX’s Simon Cowell show ‘X Factor’ – which hasn’t lived up to ratings expectations.
