Roseanne Barr Tweets George Zimmerman’s Parents REAL Home Address

Roseanne Barr apparently didn’t learn anything from Spike Lee this week…except to make sure that when you tweet an address, it’s the right one.

According to The Smoking Gun, Barr tweeted the REAL home address of George Zimmerman’s parents last night.  However, after a few minutes, she deleted the post because of “not fully understanding that it was private not public.”  (Twitter has a very specific rule about personal information that states, “You may not publish or post other people’s private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, street address or Social Security/National Identity numbers, without their express authorization and permission.”)

Barr’s feelings about the tweet seemed to be mixed, with her at first writing that she felt it “was good to let ppl know that no one can hide anymore,” and then soon after, stating that “vigilante-ism is what killed Trayvon. I don’t support that.”

In the end, Barr said that she has no problem posting the information again, if necessary:

“If Zimmerman isn’t arrested I’ll rt his address again…maybe go 2 his house myself.”
