After months of speculation, it is being reported that the first actor to play Steve Jobs on film will be Ashton Kutcher.
After months of speculation, it is being reported that the first actor to play Steve Jobs on film will be Ashton Kutcher.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kutcher is attached to star as the Apple creator in JOBS, an independent biopic being produced and financed by Five Star Institute’s Mark Hulme. Joshua Michael Stern is set to begin shooting in May, while Kutcher is on hiatus from “Two and a Half Men”.
The team may also be starting so soon to try and beat their competition. Sony bought the rights to the authorized biography of Jobs by Walter Isaacson last Fall. They are planning their own biopic as well.
